We are pleased to announce that Kimmo Kartano and Frontrunner Executive Search LLC have joined forces with global retained executive search firm Glasford International | Executive Search I Assessment I Talent Strategy as its Partner in the USA. Kimmo is Glasford International’s primary contact in the United States, and through its offices in 20 countries, Kimmo will continue to conduct searches for clients efficiently not only in the United States but also in Europe, South America, and Asia.
Kimmo Kartano, CEO and Founder of Frontrunner, is the firm’s lead consultant. Kimmo has 25 years of experience in executive search, international management consulting, and marketing. Prior to establishing Frontrunner in 2014, he worked as a consultant and principal at a large global retained search firm. Before that, Kimmo worked as a management consultant on strategy, marketing, and organizational development at a number of international companies, including The Boston Consulting Group and The World Bank. He also established and ran his own management consultancy with a focus on strategic and organizational development.
As part of his work, Kimmo has developed deep professional networks in a range of sectors, especially in technology and manufacturing industries. In addition to working in the United States, his work assignments have taken him to numerous countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East, and Latin America and the Caribbean. Earlier, Kimmo served as head of marketing for a U.S. software and online publishing company.
A dual citizen of the United States and Finland, Kimmo earned an M.B.A. from Georgetown University and a MSc. degree in Geography from the University of Turku, Finland.
